AH Ok, the first AP news alert just said Mexico City. Either way, that is a big earthquake for country that has a lot of infastructure issues.

The White House?s Kristina Schake, Communications Director to the First Lady, admitted to asking media not to report on the vacation. The request prompted some websites (including the Huffington Post) on Tuesday to remove reports about the trip, according to American reports.
?From the beginning of the administration, the White House has asked news outlets not to report on or photograph the Obama children when they are not with their parents and there is no vital news interest. We have reminded outlets of this request in order to protect the privacy and security of these girls,? said a White House statement.
