Today's topics of conversations included: money, why he cannot file for unemployment (he quit his job to start his own company), his sinus infection, his son wearing his ex-wife's underwear, his shaving habits/ sensitive skin and the fact that with heels I'm taller than him (noshit). awkward. I wish dates came with emergency exits! Good thing this one was fast and easy over lunch. I find that dates in the daytime don't try to kiss you either... that would have been awful. He did hug me though. ahhh

OP- if the date is bad enough & it sounds like this one was, it's worth it to make an excuse, no matter how obvious and leave. It's not like you're ever going to see him again.
