So I want to get one of the teeny tiny little clip on iThings for running because I hate running with my touch. I don't like the stupid arm bands, I hate holding it, and it's getting to warm to wear my running jackets that have pockets. So, since all I want to do is turn the damn thing on for 25 - 35 minutes and then turn it off again, is there any reason to shell out the extra money for the nano or is the shuffle fine? (I have a garmin so I don't need it for run stats). If the shuffle is fine can I go super cheap and just pick up a used 2nd or 3rd gen for next to nothing?

Re: iPod nano v shuffle
You can play your songs in order or shuffle them. You can't look at the names or what number the song is in the order. Which bugs me a little sometimes, but it's a small inconvenience for the money saved.
Shuffle fo sho.
