I received my J Crew factory chambray shirt
And it's perfect! I love it! It doesn't even say factory on the tag, just J. Crew perfect shirt. Anyway, it's great and I only paid $35 for it, so I think that was a good deal. Now I just need to figure out how to style it! BTW for sizing reference I bought a size small. I have broad(ish) shoulders and it fits perfect.

I pair my chambray shirts with colored denim and maxi skirts. You could also roll up the sleeves and pair it with some bright shorts and wedges. I did a chambray shirt with a kelly green maxi skirt and flip flops for St. Patrick's Day. That worked really well until it started pouring at night. You can also wear it instead of a denim jacket if it's to warm for a regular jacket, but too cool not to be covered. If you pair it with khakis, I'd wear it open with a bright cami and statement jewelry. I've seen them with sequin skirts on Pinterest and think that could be really cute. I started with 1 chambray shirt and now am up to 4 different styles and washes since I wear them so much.
