I was going to post on the book club board, but it's a bit overwhelming there. I'm curious to know what you are reading or have enjoyed reading. Lately, I've been reading through the B&N top 100 books, but am getting bored and want some new suggestions.

Re: Any readers here?
I (used to) read a lot. I read 100 books last year, but so far this year I've only made it through 4. I have a lot of book reviews in my blog.
What type of books do you usually enjoy?
Lots of readers here!
Once upon a time we had a book club.... *nudge*Ames*nudge*
My tastes usually stay with sci-fi/fantasy but these last few years I've been more adventurous. Sadly, things have been way too busy lately for me to read as much as I would like to, but I try...
I'm reading through the Song of Ice & Fire series again, especailly to prep myself for Season 2 of Game of Thrones started April 1st... currently about 80 pages from the end of my 3rd readthrough of A Clash of Kings.
I'm wicked amped for The Hunger Games movie coming out because I am a huge fan of the book. Need to finish Catching Fire and Mockingjay asap.
I've read through Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, loved it, and I'm working on Girl who Played with Fire now.
Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series is my guilty pleasure... nothing beats vampire/werewolf smut!
Other than that, I'm reading through the (World of) Warcraft books because I'm a geek, play the game, and love the lore.

I enjoy almost everything. I've been stuck on some of the newer series like Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Sookie Stackhouse, Twilight, etc. (Was on a huge vampire kick for a while). Then I also enjoyed The Help, Nora Robers, Water for Elephants..
Basically, I read anything with a good story line. I'll have to check out your blog.

I didn't realize the Game of Thrones was a book series!!!! I can not wait for season 2 next week. Don't even get me started on the Hunger Games movie. My poor husband is being forced to the movies this weekend. I already read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series and loved it!

My fave author at the moment is Tana French. She has 3 books out and I ? them all. They are mystery/thriller type books, long but definitely worth the time. In The Woods, The Likeness and Faithful Place. There's a 4th coming out this summer.
Some of my other faves are: Firefly Lane (tissue warning), Wintergirls, Thirteen Reasons Why, Still Missing, The Book Thief, These Things Hidden, Saving Rachel, Before I Fall & If I Stay
Oh, Figgy.....
Go.
Read.
NOW.

I love reading but I don't do it nearly enough.
I just started The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. It's pretty good so far. I am also going to start reading The Hunger Games this weekend.
I will pretty much read any genre. A few of my favorite books are A Million Little Pieces, White Oleander, Friday Night Knitting Club, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Shopaholic Series, Harry Potter, Twilight and I could go on and on.
I recently finished reading Tina Feys Bossypants...hilarious and now I am onto Chelsea Handlers books.
I also just finished the Hunger Games series.

Glass Castle was so good.
Recently I've read and liked: Where or When, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet, The Book Thief, Room and nearly anything by Wally Lamb.
I was going to suggest this too. Also, Half Broke Horses. Both by Jeanette Walls. Read them in reverse (Half Broke Horses, THEN Glass Castle.) it makes more sense that way.
Yes, I used to run a book club on the board. But now I'm lucky if I get to read a full chapter in a day. It took me three months to finish Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Pre-Ellie it would've taken me less than a week.
I don't have time, is what I'm saying.
I never thought of reading the books. I miss playing...haven't played in about 2 years. J and I talk about playing all the time, but we don't have enough free time to justify paying for it. Someday!
I recently resorted to audiobooks while I sit in traffic because I haven't been able to find the time since Ash became mobile. I am currently listening to the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Just finished 1984 and War of the worlds, I loved them. I love fiction and horror. Stephen King is my favorite, Dreamcatcher was one of my favorites of his.

I've been on for about 5 years now. We both play together once Sam goes to bed, and for $15/month, we really view it as a cheap date. I don't play as much as I used to because of school and Sam, but we have our fun!

We quit because I was in school and J went back, and he was unhappy with the expansion (wrath). We couldn't raid anymore and he couldn't handle playing without raiding! We started playing about 7 years ago, and still miss it. But, we would have to pay for the newest expansion on top of the monthly fee, and since we are trying to save every penny to move out of state we are holding off.
To get back to the original point of this thread. I thought of a few more I enjoyed. A Map of the World by Jane Hamilton was good, and Lovely Bones was great.
