...then is my court appointment for divorce.
It is a weird feeling like New Years Eve, anticipating the start of the new year. I am even thinking about what to wear and spiff up my hair/make-up. A good friend is coming to support me, we are meeting up for breakfast prior to the appointment at Hobbes Restaurant. I can't wait to have their Blueberry coffee cake. I am taking a half day off. After work, my team is taking me out for drinks and then I have a late appointment with my therapist. Is it so strange that I feel like a giddy kid even though the divorce was not something that I wanted? I think the 6 months waiting period did me good.
Re: 24 hours to go...
I'm glad you have someone coming with you and plans throughout the day! It's an odd day so it's nice to have good supports around you!
Hope it goes well for you!
Yay, I'm excited for you! It sounds like you have an awesome day planned to celebrate your divorce.
The day I had my court date to finalize my divorce I posted on FB that I felt like a kid on Christmas Eve
