in October 2010 Weddings

With the weather being so gorgeous in Maryland lately, flowers are blooming like crazy which makes me want some flowers of my own.  I have some really pretty planters that my Mom gave me last year but the flowers in them have since died.  I'd love to spruce up our little patio by adding some flowers to it this weekend.

Do you have any suggestions on flowers that are easy to take care of?  The patio doesn't get much direct sunlight and I'm not the best at remembering to water plants lol so the stronger the little flowers are, the better.

Uterine polyp found-  Hysteroscopy and D&C 12/6/13  DX w/complex endometrial hyperplasia
Endometrial Biopsy 3/21/14 - Hyperplasia still present  Endometrial Biopsy #2 6/24/14 - All clear!
IUI #1  w/stims and trigger - Started stims 7/7/14 - IUI 7/24/14 = BFP 8/7/14
Beta #1 8/8 - 47  Beta#2 -137  Beta#3 - 96 Beta#4 -287 Beta#5 -519 Beta#6 121 = early miscarriage 5w4d

    I've always has luck with impatiens, and they do well in shade.  Begonias are also fairly easy.  A nice plant that grows like crazy and is easy to care for (but doesn't flower) is a coleus.

    My first thought was also impatiens. Easy to take care of and loves shade. I have also grown dianthis but I think of the two impatiens are easier.

    Thanks ladies.  I googled impatiens (I couldn't think of what they looked like) and they're adorable little flowers so I'm thinking I'll go buy some of those this weekend.  Dianthis are also really pretty.  I'm getting way too excited to plant some flowers lol.
