The River spoilers and questions
So, it's over, I guess? Or maybe not? It looks like they are leaving it open for a second season. This was cheesy but it entertained me. I looked forward to the episodes every week.
And Jonas is dead or not dead? That confused me. Also, after 6 episodes of Jahel being all, "no,don't go to the Boiuna, it's evil!" she thinks it's a good idea to bring Lincoln back from the dead? "I'll just cast this spell and call on the Black Snake, the most evil spirit of all time, no biggie!"
And what was Kurt's deal? What was up with him? Why was he going to kill Emmet?
Re: The River spoilers and questions
I hope they do a season two...but my guess is it'll never get renewed. Remember when a TV season was more than two months! Those were the days ROFL!
Yeah, I didn't get why Kurt was trying to kill Emmet and I also didn't grasp what the blonde (terrible that I don't know her name) and Emmet were in cahoots about.
Eh, this episode wasn't that great but id watch another season only because I enjoy scary tv, no matter how cheesy it is....
I was confused about the Jonas thing too. We saw Lincoln kill him, but when Emmett was watching the tape Jonas walks out. Then the producer guy and the camera guy saw a hand dripping blood from the ceiling vent which I assume was Jonas, but they never addressed it and Jonas wasn't seen in the episode again and no one even mentioned him.
I don't get Jahel's change of heart either. I guess that she thought it was really Lincoln that was trying to contact her from beyond when it was really the black snake so she thought she was doing a good thing.
I was hoping that we would get some more insight into why Kurt was really there and who he was really working for. My guess is that Emmett didn't actually locate the "source" so he didn't have to kill him? Although if that is the case why can't they leave?
It sounds like they are keeping it open for a second season. I'll probably watch it even though it's pretty cheesey.
They were about to leave the Bouina and get back on the Amazon and they couldn't find the opening. Then they sent up that little remote helicopter with the video camera to see where the opening was and all the trees and rivers were shifting and filling in blocking the exit from the Bouina.
