There's nothing going on in here, it's raining cats and dogs, and I'm about to fall asleep at my desk. Please, let's post something.
I'm seriously anxious lately and I've been eating paper again. I have this tall thing of notepaper on my desk that's seriously almost gone. Because I've eaten almost all of it. It's not cute.
My first finished piece of pottery from class was a little spherical jar with a lid, and the lid totally looked like a boob. I wish I had a visual aid.
I'm wearing black jeans today. I wish mulva was around to tell me how tacky it was.

the flowering trees are all blossoming around here and i have to get off my butt and take some pictures of some cherry blossoms before they all fall off.
alison has been on a major 'trust fall' kick lately. she'll stand over me/sit on my back/butt, get a far off look in her eyes and a goofy shiteating grin on her face, and timberrrrrr flat on her face, and then laugh like a loon. and do it over and over again.
i'm getting all revved up for my 10 year college reunion this summer.
I wish the boards would stop running so slow and inconsistently.
SB -- is there a reason for your anxiety or do you think it might be because of your new meds?
I realize that just because I'm an Old Navy size 10 does not mean I'm an actual size 10, but it was still a huge blow to my ego when I went to H&M and could barely squeeze myself into a size 12 skirt.

SB, I didn't know you ate paper!! I'm sorry for your loss of stationery, but I find it fascinating. Does it really matter if you eat it? I would guess it's not necessarily bad for you. It must gives you a more interesting backstory.
I scratch my head if I get anxious. This is less glamorous than eating paper, but I can understand the physical compulsion thing.

I don't think it's the meds. I have a ton of stuff going on at work right now. And my new boss seems to have identified me as his right hand woman, so he leans on me a lot. Which is good, but it's just a lot to handle right now.
My poops are in pretty good shape though! I guess the paper is like fiber?
I want to see Alison do a trust fall. She cracks me up.

Yeah, I think your body can't process the cellulose so it just comes out the other end. You do realize that having pica means you have to name your future kid paper, right?
I'm also a nervous picker. I pick at my scalp and I feel around for really coarse hairs and when I find them I pick those out. When I was having a rough time with stuff at home and my stepdad was super crazy I did that a lot. I wasn't pulling hairs out (that weren't coarse ones), but I think just having my hands up there all the time messed my hair up, and that and stress made my hair thin out some. My mom started leaving random articles about trichotillomania in the bathroom.

I had a lot of questions about eating paper, but when I typed them out I felt like an ***.
I'm trying to clean out my old craft room so I can move everything to the new house. OhmygodIhavealotofcrap. And I can't get rid of any of it. So don't try to make me.
Also, I keep getting sidetracked. Aside from a little sewing, I've done no crafting since the baby was born. I miss my ink pads and markers and paint dabbers and glitter.

I wish I had more morning time to join in here. I'm always late to every thread. You guys seem like a pretty fun bunch, so I keep trying but I'm pretty sure I'll just continue to be a random forever.
My stress behavior is a normal one, just turned up a little. You can always tell when I'm close to a visit with my family because all of my nails and the skin around them is torn to shreds & looks like a piranha attacked. Like, open wounds. It's gross.
