Meh, you're not alone....
We actually don't mind new threads. Keeps the board going.
Now, to the questions:
I can already tell you have regular threads for certain days of the week, like WTF Wednesday and Sex Talk Friday, but what others can I look forward too? I try to get a Weekend Plans post and a Friday Five post going on Fridays. Stick around enough and you'll see more pop up. Nothing's really set in stone though -- just all depends on how bored we are.
I know some boards have something or somewhere were you record participants in the board, do you ladies do this? We did back on TK, but nothing really like that since. I know mz_zane has a Niners Baby Google Spreadsheet going, so you may wanna touch base with her if you wanna get your lil Ashur added...
Are there any definite board no-no's (like using MH!) Other than the one request to not use the term "MH" we're a pretty easy-going board. Just don't be stupid -- we have very low tolerance for dumb@sses -- and everything will be ok!
What is the name/Nickname the other Niners call you? MB will suffice.
What sports do you follow? Favorite team? Baseball only -- Boston Red Sox
How many children do you have? Ages? Genders? 1 for now -- Samantha / Samma / Sam, 1.5 years *points to siggy*
Do you have any pets? What? two corgis, Loki and Freya *points to TN Avatar* Loki is the sable and white one and he lives with us. Freya is the tri-colored female, and she's crazy, so she lives with my parents.
If you have pets and children, how did your pets take the addition of your children? It's still a rough transition, one that's kinda stressing me out, but I'm praying it calms down once Sam is bigger and Loki chills the f*ck out.
If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be? I wish he would think outside his own little box more. Some forward thinking would be ideal, rather than just the him and now. Oh, that and chill the F-out about money.

If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be? He's a loud chewer, it drives me nuts!

If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be? ~ Sometimes when we have a lot of balls up in the air like we do right now (baby making, putting our house on the market soon, his very busy job, traveling etc) he kind of shuts down. Instead of plowing ahead and making moves on SOMETHING, he does nothing. I think it's just because he's overwhelmed and doesn't know what to do next. I wish he would do something..like make a list and then DO THINGS. Not just panic and do nothing.
Are there any definite board no-no's (like using MH!) I think MB covered it... We have no problems letting anyone know when they crossed the line.

What sports do you follow? Favorite team? New York fan!! LOVE baseball, I'm dominican, so it's like second nature... but I'm the biggest Yankees fan. And football is a second love and I'm proud Giants fan.... I also went to Penn State, so I also follow them, too.
How many children do you have? Ages? Genders? One right now, still deciding if we will have more in a couple years... But Evie is 11 months.
Do you have any pets? What? a cat named Conan. he'll be 6yo next month, as well.
If you have pets and children, how did your pets take the addition of your children? Our cat is so docile, it's not been much of a transition. Evie will pull on him from time to time... but he'll just get up and move out of her range.
If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be? Hmmm, I wish he were a little more confident in his capabilities. I think he underestimates how much he can do/take on therefore he holds himself back. He's getting better so I'm excited to see all the things we can accomplish.

Sometimes I have to keep on him about getting some things done. Our fridge went out last summer and so we brought an old one up from the basement while we replaced the part on our newer one. I decided to keep the second fridge in here for a little while since I decorate cakes and needed the extra space. I haven't done any cakes in awhile and so we unplugged the fridge to save money, I think it's starting to smell a little funny. I have been asking for like a month for him to get it out... He said he should be able to this weekend. We'll see...
What sports do you follow? Favorite team? I follow hockey (Bruins), Baseball (red Sox) & Football (Patriots)
How many children do you have? Ages? Genders? I have a daughter, Gabriella, that will be 6 months old on Saturday.
Do you have any pets? What? 2 rescue dogs- Winston is a hound mix & Chloe is a chihuahua- and 2 gold fish
If you have pets and children, how did your pets take the addition of your children? Winston was great from the very beginning. Although Chloe loved to cuddle where Gabby was when she was still inside me, she (Chloe) was a little hesitant once she was born. She actually snapped at the baby the 1st day we brought her home. Winston, being the great brother he is, grabbed Chloe and "gave her the business." Ever since then, Chloe has been great.
If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be? I wish he was just a bit more understanding as to why a woman needs so much clothing & shoes.

What sports do you follow? Favorite team? I don't really, but this is the South, so it's all about college football. I guess I would say the Arkansas Razorbacks are my team because that's kind of par for the course.
How many children do you have? Ages? Genders? Just one. Ellie (short for Elizabeth) will be 2 in May, and clearly she's all girl. we are one and done.
Do you have any pets? What? We have one dog, a male Scottish Terrier named Finn, and one cat, a female calico named Lucy.
If you have pets and children, how did your pets take the addition of your children? When we had Ellie we only had Finn, and he did fine with her as an infant. Now that she's a curious toddler, we're dealing with some territory issues, but it's getting better. He's never tried to hurt her, but he will bark or nip at her to let her know when she's hurting him or in his space (like when he's eating and she tries to reach in the bowl - we no longer allow her in the kitchen when he's eating.) Lucy does fine with her as well. She's only tried to scratch (she'd declawed in the front) when Ellie stepped on her tail once.
If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be? he's a HUGE slob and I wish he would pick up after himself. It's really frustrating to come home to his underwear laying in the living room floor. However, if i ask him to pick up, he does it promptly.

What sports do you follow? Favorite team? I follow basketball, baseball and football. I'm a Cardinal's fan (grew up in St. Louis), a Mavericks fan (never watched basketball til H, and he's a crazed fan), and a Broncos fan (born in Denver in the age of Elway).
How many children do you have? Ages? Genders? Negative.
Do you have any pets? What? A dog named Grace. She's an American Bulldog who will be 5 next month.
If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be? I'd give him a setting in between fine attitude and rage. He has a really bad temper.

I can already tell you have regular threads for certain days of the week, like WTF Wednesday and Sex Talk Friday, but what others can I look forward too? I normally do a "What are you looking forward to this week?" post on Monday's. Mary will usually do a "how is your weekend". SF is an abbreviation for spending freeze and we do those intermittently when you need advice or whatnot. Sometimes we do fitness check-ins. Occasionally someone will start a "What have you made from Pinterest?" post. We also intermittently do nails and outfits when things are slow.
Are there any definite board no-no's (like using MH!) Awhile back, before 75% of the Niners were mom's, there was a blowout about threads that didnt have "BR" (baby related) in the title. So if you're going to ask questions about babies and the title isnt obvious enough, add BR to be safe. Or "Mom's...."

What sports do you follow? Favorite team? College basketball. I like it all, but I am a Duke fan. I also like watching college football, but don't have a team.

Do you have any pets? What? Before I got married, I had a black lab named Rocksie. She is now 4.5, and when we bought our house she had separation issues. So my parents have permanently adopted her and she is much happier there. We are considering a dog in the next year or so.
If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be? Probably that he likes things done a particular way and if they arent done his way, then he thinks they're wrong. Its something we've worked on. I preach the motto, "It doesnt matter how it gets done, as long as it gets done."

We did have a cat until Ash was about 7 months. But he hated Ash. We gave it 7 months, tried to give him tons of attention, his own space, etc. But his irritation eventually turned into aggression and we had to find him a new home.
If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be?
It seems like a few of you ladies are married to J too!
Especially Stees. This causes fights between us very regularly!
I think I would add how he always asks me not to do things that he is always doing, and then gets mad at me if I do it again.

It's not as big of an issue anymore as it once was.
What sports do you follow? Favorite team? I am a baseball/football girl. Cubs and Bears.
How many children do you have? Ages? Genders? None yet, maybe in a year when I'm done with school. We want 2, and I want a girl first.
Do you have any pets? What? 2 cats, Alex and Tony, both 5. Alex thinks he is biologically my child, and I'm not even entirely sure he knows he's a cat. Tony is a fluffy, kind of dumb catnip fiend.

If you could change one thing about your husband, what would it be? He doesn't/can't appreciate the now. He worries about everything, and even when good things happen, he's thinking about something bad that can come of it. He's my little black rain cloud.
