Today is supposed to be the nicest day of the week before we start gradually moving back to seasonal temperatures. I can't get over how nice of a day it was yesterday.
Today is my 35/35! Whaaaaaa??!!?? So much work to do still. It's almost over whelming.
They opened a new Costco in our area last weekend, so we might go check that out tonight. Other than that, no big plans, other than hopefully getting some more work done around the house!
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Today is my day off, yay!
I have an OB appointment at 10:30 and I've already run on my treadmill. Thank goodness for a treadmill in my basement. I was wearing some shorts that I just felt kept sliding down and bothering me, so I just took them off! Can't do that at the gym.
Other than that, I plan on visiting some old work friends at their work and doing some running around for odds and ends. Hoping to get my hospital bag packed so that I have one less worry. I had a dream the other night that my water broke and my bag wasn't ready...eek! I think I need to get some light cleaning done around the house, too.
Have a good day!
Morning! Tonight is my final writing class and the day my short story gets evaluated. Eep! I'm nervous--I had a dream last night where everyone hated it and the instructor even brought in people not in the class to tell me how bad it was! But I am looking forward to getting some feedback.
Other than that, things are quiet. Hope everyone has a good one.
Today is a pretty busy day for me. I am leaving work at 1 to go to a funeral. I am not taking P since its nasty and rainy out and its just a graveside service. After the funeral I am going to get him and then go meet up with my bff to go to a huge consigment sale they have twice a year here. I am hoping to find some clothes for Jordan and Preston but Jordan really needs them worse than preston does.
Jordan has a soccer game tonight I hope to make it back in time for that, but really I think it will get rained out.
Work is a nightmare right now. Without getting into too much detail, there is just a lot of uncertainty. I plan on drinking significant amounts of wine for the rest of the week.
Really though, no big plans tonight. I'm meeting up with a friend and we'll definitely drink some wine and discuss everything that's going on with both of our jobs.
Good morning! I love day twos. They're totally my favourite day of the cycle. I have my worst class first thing in the morning, so they're at their least worst, and two preps (huzzah). I have to watch my homeroom compete in March Madness today (we do basketball play-offs in March), and have call-backs for my auditions after school today. Also, my grade 7s will be gone Mon-Weds next week, so that means sweet, glorious freedom those three days and only teaching 2 classes a day (whoop!).
We got some rough news last night on the teaching front. The school trustees (you know, elected officials who don't know anything about the school system) is voting to fire 200 teachers, 430 EAs (educational assistants - you know, those amazing people who support kids with special needs), 130 office staff and 40 VPs because the province has introduced all-day kindergarten that it needs to pay for AND because our school director is the kind of man who would rather spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a rally rather than fixing up buildings. Amazing. A lot of the teachers at my school are freaking out about getting transferred, but I'm more concerned that at 200 more teachers have been hired after me in the last 3? years. Of course, it's not as easy as that, and hopefully my position as a department head will save me, but we're in for a bumpy ride. I suspect a lot of this news has to do with the fact that we're renegotiating our contracts right now, and it's being used as a scare tactic.

Chica - Good luck on the evaluation of your story. I am sure it will go well.
Lastnight was so nice. When I got home, the boys were outside playing in their shorts. This is crazy weather we are having, but like Raynes temps are supposed to be back to normal by the weekend, and of course potential for snow early next week.
DH is finally off of work for a couple of days, so I am looking forward to some quality time as a family the next 2 nights. He has to work all weekend, boo! We are having steak on the grill also which I can not wait for.
Have a great day ladies.
Happy 35/35 Raynes!
Good luck Chica, let us know how it goes!
Good morning girls. Last night flew by so fast since I had a ton to do. I went grocery shopping for this weekend and finished up cleaning the guest bath and bedroom. We ended up having a really late dinner and then went straight to bed.
The weather is warming up nicely, it's supposed to be in the mid to high 70's by this weekend! Tonight I'm going to go for a walk outside after work then grill up some burgers and hang with the boys.
Tonight I'm heading to my BFF's to make a cake for her dog's birthday. I'll try to take a pic if the little psycho ever sits still. I'm hoping to make it home for Grey's and PP, but I doubt it. We'll probably sit and chat for a while until she starts yawning around 8:30. haha.
I found out that my dad is coming to visit for a night. That is insane to me. I think Jackson will see more of him this year than I have in the last 5. It's sad, but true. I hope having a grandchild will bring him up here more. He's in VA, so it's a hike. I'm excited but nervous.
I also realized I have a really good coupon for shutterfly, so this weekend will be making photo books for either ourselves or the moms for mother's day. I'm undecided if I want to do them yet or wait until 1 year. I think for us we'd like to wait, but we'll see. I get to dabble with photoshop some more, and that makes me happy.
