You think YOUR visa situation is a pain in the ass?
Has your country ever tried to file criminal charges against you?
The Norwegian immigration authorities are sending my case to the police for suspected fraud. Or something. It's a longish story so I will illustrate it via the highest form of art, GIF:
Norway is like

and

to me.
I feel like

while DBF is like

I wish I had the courage to tell Norway

But we probably want to move back there one day so I have to

I just hope I'm not completely

Stay tuned for more adventures in dealing with The Worst Immigration System Ever!

Re: You think YOUR visa situation is a pain in the ass?
Love it!
Sorry for your visa troubles.
I renewed my visa (because it, uhh, was expiring) and shortly after left the country to study for a year. Then I came back and tried to renew my expired visa.
I informed the People Registry that I had left, but not the immigration authorities. I'm confident I won't wind up in pound-me-in-the-ass prison because of this.
......I hope.
I would get the help of an immigration attorney! At least you'd have someone knowledgable speak on your behalf and get you out of this knot.
Just watch some FOX News covers of the Breivik situation. There are no pound-me-in-the-ass prisons in Norway. Only luxurious 4-star country clubs with art studios and cable.
FOX News aside, they are pretty cushy. I cannot imagine what those idiots are saying, though.
Or where on a map of Europe they think Norway is.
OMG what a PITA!!! surely you can just claim that you didn't know you had to notify immigration too? Its great that you can prove that you DID notify someone!
Love the illustrations though of your problem
GL I hope it all works out well for you so you have the option of living there again some day!

I am truly sorry about anyone's visa problems, really. That said, the illustrations and this quote have made me fall madly in love with all of you and this board.
