Re: WTF??
I just finished reading everything.
Holy sh!t that Alabaster person is just full of poison. How much of a cuunt do you have to be to say sh!t like that to someone who just buried a baby for the 2nd time?
Cold.
Yikes. That was a bit much for someone who lost not one but two pregnancies halfway through.
That being said, I think if the OP isn't ready to not have the info in her siggy then she isn't yet ready to have "BNOTB" as it were.
It's like there should be a "Life After TTC" board or something like that, for people who are no longer trying but it's not quite IF.
I feed bad for her regardless.
Um...
I haven't gotten throught the whole post yet, but there are a few things that stick out to me:
1) I don't think the poster erin0709 realized the babies in the signature were deceased in her very first post. But she kept rolling with her original statement even after the OP explained.
2) By making a big deal about the signature, BNOTB created an entire baby-sentric post. Ignoring it, there probably would have been no mention of babies.
3) The posters who are like "ZOMG, YOU DON'T LIKE HER BECAUSE SHE HAS DEAD BABIES" are crazy.
4) I can see why OP thought BNOTB would have been a good idea... but she wasn't ready for the board.
whatabunchofcunts
I'm kinda offended that TIP was compared to that. Snail was snatchy, but holy God, not to that level.
OMFG. Alabaster needs some karma. Now.
I was kind of surprised too. I mean I know there were some b!tchy beat downs on stupid new posters, but I don't think we ever ripped someone apart for something like this... nothing so heartless.
I do so love the alliteration of snatchy Snail.
Alabaster is completely useless. Literally.
yeah agreed.
"Snatchy Snail, what's in your sparkly shell?"
"It's those blowhard BNOTB biitches, baking into a bitter bouillabaisse."
If that Erin chick is considered the "best of" that board, then the Nest Gods can delete it and start over from scratch. She's just as worthless as Alabaster.
I just saw that she is handicapped and can only use one hand. So I guess that's the karma I wanted. But I think she needs more.
What a worthless, horrible person. I don't often wish suffering on people, but I'll make an exception for her @$$.
I have an insatiable urge to start a new thread on BNOTB. It would read something like this...
http://pandce.proboards.com/index.cgi#general
Someone on ML suggested invading the board with baby pictures, longass siggies regarding babies, and nothing but baby talk.
Someone needs to get that disgusting piece of trash alabaster kicked off TN.
Consider it done.
"Just dropping by to say..." on BNOTB. Link in the thread above.

God, that was gross.
You ladies have had some harsh things to say but never anything near that level of rudeness.
Sadly, Im not shocked. The internet allows for behavior that most people generally dont have the stones to display in the "real world" away from the screen. I think people that because they are behind a screen, their words carry no weight and they can just say what they want without any regard for the other person.
With that, that Alabaster person really is vile. I imagine though, she is loving the attention (even while negative) because its probably the most she's ever gotten. People like that are more sad than anything. Do I think she needs to be beaten with a sweat sock full of D-batteries? Absolutely.
Humanity is really ugly sometimes.
You know, I think I'm more bothered by the fact that there was a pro-Alabaster pile-on. Yes, there are vile keyboard commandos out there on the Interwebz, but that they're so widely accepted as a part of a community concerns me more.
Some of them defended themelves by saying that they're all sweetness and light IRL and that their friends would be shocked that they were viewed any differently. That just makes me *** my head to the side, because essentially they've admitted to donning a false Internet personality that their loved ones would find shameful. And that they're a bunch of empty-headed dittoheads that ride the coattails of the HBIC. Um, congrats on making me now think even less of you than I did before.
Someone said,
"And cooking is the least offensive thing ever. If you can't eat, you die. I can tailor meals to all dietary restrictions, thank you."
...and I laughed out loud thinking, "meatloaf!"
