What is the purpose of blog giveaways?
Basic question here: For D&R blogs, what is the purpose of a giveway? I assume it is more than simply rewarding readers. Is it to attract new readers? Or perhaps up page views in order to increase advertising dollars? What is the real behind-the-scenes business purpose of these?
