if michael had won....i'd have died.
My Shopping Blog
I was thinking the same thing. And their talk was leaning in that direction. I've actually been really impressed with Michael this show, but in my head I was whining, "No, not Michaellll."

Agreed!
I admit that I got a little nervous when they were announcing the winner but for the most part I felt he had it in the bag from day one. I was so heartbroken over Gretchen's win/Mondo's loss. I wanted this win for him like I cannot describe.
And as it turned out I really DID like his collection the best.
Baking Blog
I was really impressed with all the collections- as always, Austin's was my least fave but I usually dislike everything he does. I love, Love, LOVED his black lace dress and I thought the petal detail on the wedding dress was so light and flowy. I thought the evening gown looked like one of those convertible dresses where you can rip off the bottom and turn it into a cocktail dress- NMS.
I really enjoy Michael's style and thought his collection looked comfy but chic. I loved the long-sleeved black print dress with the belt as well as what I thought was a jumper but I guess it was separates. I think even though he did not win he def made an impression on some very influential ppl in fashion.
Mondo's style is usually not fave- i much prefer neutrals to bright bold prints but I was crazy about his high-waisted pant, cropped blazer and printed T-shirt. The whole look really moved me- I NEED that T-shirt! I wanted to hate the lame' dress but there was just something about it that was very interesting even if I personally would not wear it. His designs def walk the line between fashion and art, IMO. I am glad he was finally able to claim a win on PR and this time against people known to be the best of the best. How Gretchen won against him the first time is still beyond me.
An American Girl's Travels
Yay!!!!
I just watched it on DVR and I'm so thrilled he won.
Michael and Austin's collections were both nice, but Mondo deserved the win! I want to wear some of those outfits, although it's doubtful I could ever afford them.

This is my thoughts exactly. I liked his stuff but I kinda liked Austin a little more but I believe he had no chance from the beginning. I really LOVED his wedding dress.

I was so happy Mondo won that I was in tears! I was at Mondo's viewing party when he lost to Gretchen and it was absolutely heartbreaking. The club was packed and you could have heard a pin drop when they announced her as the winner.
But, now he has his redemption, not to mention the biggest prize in PR history. I loved his collection. I want the ink blot dress so badly I can't even stand it!
Probably. And I am fine with that. lol.
