on a scale of 1 to blowing pandora's box wide open, how much trouble am I creating for myself if I give the Photoshop CS6 beta trial a whirl? I have Lightroom 3, which I lurvvve, and I have PSE (6, I think?) which I use infrequently. Am I going to be hooked and will there be no living without it?

Re: notamrs
There's one thing in PS that will blow your mind: content aware fill (google it and watch some of the demonstration videos). I'm seriously convinced that some developer at adobe sold their soul to the devil and we are all reaping the benefit.
That being said, I do at least 90% of my editing in Lightroom. The develop module is exactly the same as the PS camera raw editing box. So unless you're wanting to do a lot of detailed editing like removing background stuff (which can also be done in LR, just not as easily), using layers, etc., LR is probably more than sufficient. But it is nice to have PS as an option to play with.
www.kelbytraining.com has some really good LR and PS tutorials on all kinds of subjects. Also, if a live Scott kelby seminar ever comes to your area, I highly recommend it - well worth the time and money. The PS seminars usually give you lots of useful info for LR too .
content aware and refine mask make my life better in ways I didn't even know was possible.
I've never really used PSE, but I would venture to say that if you're not using that, you probably won't NEED PS, but it's always fun to download free trials
.
I do most of my basic editing in lightroom, but if I have a picture that needs "fixing" that's when I usually switch over to PS. Things like cloning and head swaps are just a million times easier there.
