Weekend plans...
Now that it is spring and lots to do .... what did you do last weekend? What are your plans for this coming weekend?
Re: Weekend plans...
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo ended this past weekend. DH and I are volunteers. So we worked Friday night. I went for a few hours on Saturday to see the sheep dog trials. Then we took a motorcylce ride with some friends. The bluebonnets are starting to bloom along the roadside. Sunday we took relatives to the rodeo.
This weekend a friend is renting a sailboat and we plan to spend the day on Galveston bay.
That sounds like a lot of fun! I hope the weather is gorgeous for you.
Last weekend we stayed home on Friday night and all day Sunday, but on Saturday we went out downtown to 4 different bars for St. Patrick's Day. We headed out around 11am and planned to be home by dinner time but we ended up not getting home until midnight, so we were pretty hardcore; it was so much fun though
This weekend I think will be pretty low key since we spent a lot of money last weekend. Per my previous post, I want to pretty up our patio with some new flowers but other than that we don't have anything planned. We're hosting Easter for both of our families for the first time ever this year which I'm super excited/nervous about, so I may spend some time looking through grocery store ads to see if I can find any good deals on non-perishable stuff that I plan to make. I figure if I buy some stuff here and there before then, it wont be such a big blow to the bank account for all the food.
Last weekend we went with DH's parents to Syracuse, NY for some cross-border shopping.
This weekend we are painting the guest room and the guest bathroom. The guest bathroom was painted a few months ago by my parents, but now that our new countertop is in, I don't like the colours together - so, it's easier to repaint than to order a new countertop
If we are good kids and get the painting done, we're going to see 21 Jump Street on Sunday.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermLets see last weekend, We had friends over for dinner Friday ( love cooking for others) Saturday I wasn't feeling to good so we didn't do anything for St. pattys day and Sunday Was my super lazy day, I never even got out of Jammies. I also have Monday off (that's my Sunday) so I did laundry and looked at housed for sale in the area online, and took a old friend out for her late birthday present. we went to the cheap movies and saw one for the money, It was a goodie!!
This weekend, As far as I know we only have grocery shopping planned. not much else...
