I had so many thoughts that I had to break them into 2 posts. They are long. Sorry!! I am going to do one more post about my playlist and a race review sometime in the next few days.
Mile-by-mile
My critique of my performance and general thoughts
I still cannot say enough good things about Shamrock, and not only because I had an epic marathon. Both DH (who ran the half marathon) and I had really great experiences. This is an all-around quality event. We are already talking about going back next year.

I love your blog! You race recaps are like my guide to races I want to run one day
Also, I got all teary reading these two recaps because my Savannah 1/2 last year was my only nearly perfect race and it was just amazing.
I'm so happy for your and can't wait to read about Boston and Gansett because those are 2 races I'll truly never be running.
