DVF at Gap Kids!

http://www.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=79377&mlink=,4816767,ShopNowtxtlink&clink=4816767

I forgot this was happening! I'm glad I got an email about it this morning.

I'm definitely going to check out my local store...some of the stuff looks super cute!

Do you think you'll get something for your little one from the collection?

Re: DVF at Gap Kids!

  • I don't have kids, but I saw a special on this on the Today show awhile back. Some of the stuff was SO cute, but all the dresses seemed way too short, like the little girls couldn't even bend over. I really like this one though.

This photo is a good illustration of what I'm talking about. How on earth are those little girls going to play in those dresses without flashing their unders?  I think I'd have to stick leggings under all of them.

Lol that's true. My little girl is only 5 months, so I'm not too worried. I'll put some bloomers on with it, or maybe leggings if it's a cooler day:)

  • I love those bloomers with the little ruffles on the butt. You could totally get away with that! Too bad she didn't make anything like that with the collection.

I know...that would have been adorable!

  • The pink and black one in the photo is a romper. I bought that one and a blue dress for my daughter and they are awesome!

  • I agree with Kare.  This stuff is cute, and I don't have kids, but I wouldn't spend $75 on a kids dress from Gap, even if it is DVF.

It would be adorable on a 5mo old though! I do agree!

Way too pricey, but I also have a boy so my opinion might be different if I had a girl!

  • Honestly, I think those prices are nutso for kids clothes.  That said, I'm a major budget shopper when it comes to my son's clothes and would be the same way with a girl.  I do consignment sales, Crazy 8, Kohl's, and Old Navy for his stuff, and I think he looks pretty darn cute.
  • I spulrge for my niece three times a year, birthday, xmas and the persian new year. I did buy a few things online and had it shipped to her, she got them two days ago and loves them. I got her the blazer, green shorts and the green tank top with the hearts. She looks really cute in them, they are items that she can mix & match. She is 13  and not into dresses.

I have a confession that I did try on one of the dresses for myself, I am 5'2" so the length wasn't too short, the top part was tight, if I was 10-15lbs lighter I would have been able to wear it with leggings.
