Neuner or other bakers

I am making the cupcakes for Teaghans party tomorrow and I am using your frosting recipe. If I frost them tomorrow afternoon should I refrigerate them until Sat when I need them?

Re: Neuner or other bakers

  • I am of the opinion most frosting is shelf stable.  I would make the frosting and not frost them til the morning of the party if you want to refrigerate it.

  • I'm with Mart. Make the frosting ahead of time, frost the day of. You can frost a day early and refrigerate, but the frosting gets a little hard on the outside. You're better off frosting the day of.
