Does a decent inexpensive cheek stain exist?
I love the look of Benefit Posietint but don't want to pay $28. The two good dupes that I've found from googling are available only in the UK.
I'm not necessarily even looking for a dupe, but I'd love to find a liquid cheek stain or maybe some type of cream for the cheeks that will give me a sheer light pink flush.
Any recommendations that are under $15? If I can't find something under $15, I might as well just get Posietint. I'm pretty cheap, though, and would love to find something inexpensive.
Re: Does a decent inexpensive cheek stain exist?
My heart is as open as the sky.
Read about it on the blog
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
I read about The Body Shop's Lip & Cheek Stain ($14) on a blog recently. The review preferred it to Benetint. She said it was an exact color dupe and it performed better. Review below.

I think your problem is that there isn't a good dupe for posietint!! Haha it's just such a pretty pink color, not like benetint which I see as just sort of a general lip and cheek stain that can be replaced with a lower end brand for color purposes.
I think you should splurge this once. As PP said, the bottle lasts forever, so it'll be worth the price in the long run.
Eta: it's possible you could find it cheaper from a reputable seller on eBay or something?
Thanks! I like the look of that a lot and may get it, although I also really like the lighter pink color of Posietint. I think I may just have to splurge for the Posietint, and may get this one as well for something a little more red.
I think you are right. I looked on ebay and amazon, but the full size ones aren't a very good deal and there are a lot of the tiny travel size. I think I'll just splurge because I love the color.
I love the Sephora one:
