J and I were talking on the phone, which is pretty rare. His daughter beeped through with a text, and he asked if he could call me back, that he was going to give her a quick call. I said no problem, that we'd be seeing each other tomorrow anyway, so if not, no big deal. And then he says, "OK, then, I'll talk to you later...I love you..."
I could FEEL his face get red from all the way over here! lol He started stuttering and stammering, and I just howled. He was like, "Uh, um, don't take that all weird or anything!" and I just cracked up. I said, "No worries, you're fine! You're so cute!"
I swear, that phrase is SO easy to say when you're getting off the phone with someone! ACK!!!

Re: I just got the accidental "I love you"
Yes, it is easy sometimes for it to slip out, especially when the only other people I talk to on the phone I DO say I love you (family).
This exactly!! Up until the guy I'm seeing right now, I never talk to anyone on the phone other than family. God help me so that I don't do this! haha
LMAO. I work at a call center, and one of my coworkers accidentally ended a phone call with a customer with "Ok, I love you, bye!" OMG the funny!
They only people I talk to on a regular basis on the phone is my mom and DH. I always end the conversations with I love you!
So the other day I was talking to my REA on the phone and She said bye hun, ill call you when I hear anything. I don't know if it was because she called me hun or what but my reply was. Ok sounds good. Have a great night, I love you! I believe she hung up before I said the last part. (She had a call coming in on the other line, so she was in a little bit of a hurry to get off the phone) Normally it would make me upset if the person I was talking to hung up before I was done talking, but I'm glad she did. (She hasn't mentioned this to me since so I hope she didn't hear me!)
BWA HA HA! I literally burst out laughing after reading this ^^^
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
