One Tree Hill 3/22
I bawled like a baby through the entire thing. It felt weird bawling for Dan Scott but I did. The basketball scene was pretty wild..

As cheesy as some parts were, a lot of the episode hit really close to home (especially when Lydia was visiting Dan and when the whole family was around him when he passed) because I lost my dad a few months ago. I was a complete emo mess and then totally lost it when I saw that the episode was dedicated to whom I presume is Paul Johansson's mom (who was roughly the same age as my dad).
I totally ugly cried.
The scenes with Deb and Dan made me smile though...their banter was so sweet.
I still can't believe Lucas is really not coming back. I'm not happy with my one crap episode of Lucas coming back!
It was cheesy at points but definitely one of the best episodes this season.
When Keith first showed up I just about lost it... it's weird that it made me sad for Dan but I'm glad they wrapped his character up in a way that made the fans like him.
When they did all those season "will dan die" cliffhangers, I would always get mad that he would still be alive because I hated him and wanted to die. Now he finally dies and I was so bummed. Dan's character was a big d-bag, no doubt, but I started to like him after Jamie was born. He obviously was completely in love with his grandkids and that definitely made me have a soft spot for him.
The whole Lucas coming back that from a few epis ago was a total waste. They shouldn't have even bothered.

Well I can't believe it- they actually killed Dan. Wow! I am glad that in spite of everything Nathan was there in the end. He would have just had more emotional issues had he not been there.
Total SN from this episode: I am just glad we didn't have to see that other kid- ok, what is Jamie's friend's name that is being beat by his dad? lol I don't even know right now! But it's been bugging me how much screen time he's getting in this final season. Jamie annoys the heck out of me but getting more time than Jamie just isn't right. Let's wrap up the real OTH characters please.
Right now, with the exception of Dan's death now, nothing has happened this season that really needed to be added to these character's stories after last season. JMO Someone remind me- is there another fast forward coming up before or in the finale?

I cried during this episode. I can't believe Dan died and Keith was there to get him as his +1 to Heaven.
