Excema on hands, advice needed!

I have it and now my daughter does too, I'm just wondering if anyone has any hand soap and/or lotion recs. With the exception of hand soap, everything is "free and clear" but I'm having a hard time finding a good hand soap. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!

Re: Excema on hands, advice needed!

  • I like Aveeno Ezcema lotion -- you can get the regular Aveeno kind or "Aveeno Baby Ezcema" lotion. It's a nice, light everyday lotion.

At night I put on a lotion called Cutemol. I have to have my pharmacist order it for me, but it's amazing. It's really thick so you only use a little bit. I think you can get it on amazon and drugstore.com too.

(I also have a steroid cream from the dermatologist but honestly the cutemol works just as well and it's safe to use on your daughter.)

  • Aquaphor does wonders for eczema!  I also like Mary Kay's fragrance free hand lotion and hand softener (super intense, I use it at night).  I don't have a traditional hand soap to recommend, but I really like Dove's bar soap for sensitive skin.  Hope that helps!
