Pear shaped ladies and colored denim.

Anyone have luck with a brand that doesn't make your thighs or butt look like stuffed sausages? I bought a pair of green jeans from gap because I LOVE their 1969 brand but they are awful. Super camel toe and they made my entire lower half look huge. I'm starting to think this is a trend I'm just not gonna be able to pull off....

Re: Pear shaped ladies and colored denim.

  • If your legs look like stuffed sausages and you have camel toe, then you are buying the wrong size.
  • Gap was advertising their boyfriend jeans are available now in colored denim. It is an option for a looser fit. I have a pair of their regular boyfriend jeans and I like them a lot.

  • I got a pair of colored denim from AE.  I am also pear shaped and I thought they looked pretty cute!!

  • I'm more hourglass than pear, but I have super athletic legs, and I really like my AE colored denim and Joe's colored skinnies.
  • Nope.  I gave up on this trend b/c it brings too much attention to my big ole thighs.

  • I like KUT From the Kloth.  I buy mine from Nordstrom.  I have a big ol booty and they don't creep down at all.

  • I don't plan on trying this trend because I'm self conscious about my thighs & don't want to draw attention to my "problem area." but- I think you can pull it off if you get the right size & cut. I'll only wear skinny jeans with boots- but maybe a straight leg cut would help keep your proportions more balanced? I also like colored shorts- like the twill shorts from jcrew- I feel like that's my spin on this trend that suits my shape the best.
