Capital One - It isn't one they offer new accounts on anymore.

My Discover card no longer charges a fee - while they have expanded where it is accepted, I still don't use it much overseas.

Capitol One Venture, and Discover. Although like PP said, Discover isn't accepted very many places over seas, so it isn't too helpful.

Capital One Venture. If you'll spend a fair amount and pay it off each month, the Venture card is pretty awesome for racking up rewards on top of the no foreign transaction fee. I just got the card in the end of January and have already redeemed for over $500 worth of travel rewards.

When did you check? They just sent us a letter saying that the international transaction fee was going away effective immedeatly about a month ago.

The rewards program is great if you travel a lot because beyond getting a point for every dollar spent, you get a point for every mile flown. So if my husband and I fly to Europe, it is around 16,000 miles round-trip, so we end up with enough points for over $150 in rewards from that flight alone (can be redeemed for gift cards, flights, etc.)

I have the Chase Sapphire and really like it there are no transaction fees and you earn points that can be used or transferred to some airline programs at a 1 to 1 ratio.

I have the British Airways Chase Visa. I got it because they had a big promo on, so I didn't research anything else, but since I almost exclusively fly oneworld it works for me.

My Amex Platinum doesn't charge the transaction fee...thought I'm probably going to get a VISA as the AMEX isn't as widely accepted as a VISA

Chase Sapphire has an annual fee of $96 after the first year though, correct? Or have you been able to talk your way out of paying?
