A good friend is having her first boy (after 3 girls!). Does anyone have ideas for me? I have a few projects pinned, but I'm looking for more inspiration.

Re: Sewing for baby boys?
I'm working on a crocheted Hobbes doll right now for a friends baby boy nursery. I also like to make soft crocheted blocks and balls as gifts.
Sewing I like to make receiving blankets, burp cloths, and bibs. Baby quilt if I really like them!
My favorite thing that I've made for my little boy would definitely be sunhats. Everywhere we went we have gotten compliments. Outerwear is great, as there's oodles of chances to rewear.

My mom uses her scraps of flannel to make soft balls, kind of like these:

She puts a jingle bell in the middle of the stuffing.
I want to try to make a taggie blanket with different fabric squares(silky, fluffy, etc) and then put in each square something fun to squeeze, a tiny music button, etc.
