A girl I went to high school with named her baby Bayla.
So I guess when you can't decide between Bailey and Kayla, you go with Bayla!

Re: Bad baby name
I have a friend with nearly 2-year-old twins, one of whom is named Bayla. I tried to find her blog post on why she named her Bayla, but I can't seem to find it. However, I remember it was to honor her mother.
I'm assuming your friend isn't Jewish? It's usually spelled Baila, but it's a traditional Jewish girl's name.
Not Jewish, so I don't know what their reasoning is.
Well, as I said, they're not at all Jewish.
And it's not actually any sort of form of the Jewish name. At the very best, it's a yooneek spelling.
That would be "Bailar"
Baila would mean he/she dances. And is still a dumb name.
