Anything fun in Sydney, AU tonight?
Hey AU ladies - we finally are in Australia. DH is away from this morning through Friday morning. Our hotel is the Four Seasons by The Rocks. Does anybody have any suggestions of something to do tonight? I feel so weird going out alone but I could use some drinks so I'm willing to go for it!

I know the dirty three are preforming tonight at the opera house- I like them.
Otherwise I would head down the beach and have some dinner and a few drinks overlooking the water.
Also since you are in the rocks you could just go for a stroll and find a pub- it will probably have backpackers in it so there will be people to talk to- plus drinks and food and music.

I cannot even tell you the last time I actually went out (not just dinner or a movie) and certainly not the middle of the week! Gosh, I feel like an old lady!
But I agree, and would also recommend walking around the rocks, there will be plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from!

UGH - me too!! Do you live near Brisbane? We're going to be there too!
I did end up venturing out tonight and had a beer at a pub, then dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant. Dinner was tasty but I don't care for eating alone - especially three times in one day!
We're on this trip for 3 weeks and DH has to work 4 days out of that - so I can't complain too much. Trip is far better than no trip!

you are so close you could always take a ferry to Manly for dinner too - lots of nice places to eat there
Also they have 'night food markets' on every Friday night in the forecourt near the ferry terminal
