And now I'm half way through season 2 on Netflix. Thanks for the recommendation guys. I've been a bum for two days straight.

Re: I finally watched HIMYM
How I met your mother. Kpol and some others have raved about it. I don't have cable so I finally watched it on Netflix.
Oh okay. We watch it all the time I guess I just didn't know the aberration for it! I'm glad you like it!
I thought it was interesting to see how some people reacted to the episode "Symphony of Illumination". Infertility is a very serious subject and an especially emotional one for anyone who has dealt with it long-term and didn't get a real easy clean diagnosis right away vs. the way the show did it.
I definitely agree. And I hate how ugly they have made Robin look. She used to be hot, and now they have her in hideous clothes every week. Plus I don't like her haircut at all.
I think part of it is that the characters, while a sitcom, are also just growing up. And it's hard, when they've tried to base the characters in reality, to go through some of the parts of growing up in your late 20s/early 30s and have it be funny. I'll admit I've slipped behind on this season because I'm trying to watch the last episodes of House, but you could see it was going that way. Also, it's getting to the point that I want a specific plot point in the series to just happen already (trying not to be spoiler-y) so we can follow that for a while.
Also, to anyone who hasn't seen it, do not watch the episode 6.13 "Bad News" if you are in any way feeling a little vulnerable. I cried like a baby pretty much the whole night after seeing it.
I must admit I think that you're right about that. Reality isn't always funny so do they just leave those parts out, try to imply what happened or attempt to deal with those parts anyway?
