what do you think about these walking shoes

are the "barefoot" shoes comfortable? I just need them for walking daily 1 to 1.5 miles.
I have never tried them. I lke them becuase they are low lying and I have 9.5 shoes that look huge in a traditional padded gym shoe. Anyone have any feedback?
