Great alternative to Equipment silk blouse
I've been lusting over the Equipment classic silk blouses (above, in camel) for a while now. I made the mistake of trying one on and it was perfect except, of course, it was a little large for my petite frame. Not to mention, it was a little outside of my budget. So I set out on the hunt to find a less expensive (!!) and better fitting option. Well, I finally found a great alternative in a petite size at Ann Taylor. Added bonus is that it has roll-up, button-tab sleeves, making it even more versatile and wearable.
In real life, this color is more of an olive green than a brown.
Re: Great alternative to Equipment silk blouse
How about Jcrew's blythe?
This one is nice, too, but you can almost buy the Equipment at this price, JCrew Luxe Silk Crepe blouse
TX-- those are great options as well. I think, however, that the shoulders make it a slightly different feel from the Equipment blouse. One of the things that makes the Equipment version (and the AT one) so flattering on me are the clean lines with the shoulders and the pockets.
And, yes, I think the button-tabs add something very nice to the design. I roll my sleeves often at work, so this is definitely a plus for me as well.
