Foodie musts in Paris and London?
We're going to London and Paris next week and want to find great food finds. I'm looking for restaurants and markets bakeries etc. I'd just like to eat my way through! Any ideas? Thanks!

In London:

Totally agree with Borough Market. I'd also suggest La Fromagerie in Lonond.

My fav cheese shop!
Paris
Laduree (macarons)
Pierre Gagnaire (modern French fine dining)
Taillevent (classic French fine dining)
London
Cafe Helen (shawarma)
Harwood Arms (gastropub)
Masters Superfish (fish and chips)
London
Camden market for African food
Harrod's food hall- to sample everything (but remember to dress nice and not look like a backpacker looking for a free feed)
Borough Market in London and Le Cinq in Paris are on my list.

I second Borough Market. It's fantastic.
For Paris, I recommend walking Rue Cler and picking up a baguette and some pastries at the patisserie and a couple of cheeses at the fromagerie, etc., and build yourself a picnic. The Eiffel Tower is a 10-15 minute walk from Rue Cler and you can have your picnic in the park.
Agree borough market.
We really love the Gilbert Scott--stunning setting and nice food, although it is not on the cheap side of things. If it's not in your budget, you can get desserts and drinks at the bar. http://www.thegilbertscott.co.uk
For gastropubs, try the Wells or the Hollybush in Hampstead.
We like Zayna's for Indian food (focus is on food from Pakistan and Northern India): http://www.zaynarestaurant.co.uk/
Dim sum is great in London. There are some good places in Chinatown and Ping Pong is a chain that is boisterous and interesting food-wise.
I've been wanting to try Pizaro for ages (http://www.viewlondon.co.uk/restaurants/pizarro-info-272489.html). It's Spanish tapas. We did try and enjoy Fino's, near Goodge Street.
Fairuz just off of Marylebone High Street is fun for Lebanon: http://www.viewlondon.co.uk/restaurants/fairuz-info-1757.html.
Brunch places--Ottolenghi in Islington, Caravan in Exmouth Market (Clerkenwell), etc.
Is there anything specific you are hoping for?
