AW: Yes, I sewed this weekend!
So many house projects on the list that sewing has taken a back seat. I did find time to whip out this Lolly Wolly knockoff for my friend's daughter. I adore the fabrics--so bright and cheery. I plan to make something for LA out of the same combination soon.

Love it! Quite the cute dress -- what pattern was it?
and oh my, you are a better friend than I. I often have intentions to make things for other people, but they very seldom come to fruition! I have enough trouble getting clothes made for my own girls!

Oh, don't give me too much credit. I trade services with her so it is my form of "payment" (she provides the fabric, I provide the manual labor). In exchange, she makes all of LA's bows and does all the applique/embroidery work for me. It works out great.
There isn't a pattern. I used a peasant dress base for the dress and "winged" the ruffle neckline. It was super easy.
