    Yes! In June! & I must be crazy b/c I agreed to run on a marathon relay team in May!...my leg will be around 6-7miles! GULP!! What was I thinking?!!! Well, I guess once thats over w/the 5k will be a breeze right? Lol!

    Mine is April 14.  I need to bust my ass these next few weeks to make sure I'm ready.  I'm doing C25K and did 2/3 of this past week on the treadmill.  I have a feeling I'm going to regret that when I go back outside tomorrow.

    My first 5k is April 7! I'm so excited and nervous! I have been training quite a while, but started from nothing. I just hope I can do a good job!

    my first was March 18th, i beat my goal of 28 min...did 27:30, i hadn't been doing much real practicing...just running at my friend's pace or a little faster, she finished in 32:30..our next race is a 4 miler on April 1st, then we have 3 more 5K's we have already signed up for.  I'm bummed she's in San Diego this week so I won't have her to run with, but she's running out there already.

    I am 2 weeks in to C25k and debating a Fourth of July 5k. At this point, it's hard to imagine being ready by then. But I'm using it as motivation!
