NPCER: what do you think of this party favor?

I am a table hostess at a fundraising event and one of the things I am responsible for is a small favor for my 7 guests. I have invited women I hope will join (or have recently joined at my invitation) the group, so it's people I know at the table, if that makes a difference. The table is formal (it's an afternoon tea); the theme is Spring Garden Party.

Anyway, would like this as a favor at this kind of event?

I like it because it's useful, not contingent on your decor tastes, and doesn't take up space.

Thanks for your opinions!

ETA: I would not be doing baby shower tags, obviously. I think I am going to use little bird shaped place cards...

  • I think it seems weird as a baby shower gift. But for your purposes it sounds nice and appropriate....however, it seems a little odd to have a food item at a table that the humans can't eat....but I might be over thinking it.
  • they are cute, but generally I hate non-edible favors  (future rascal driver)
  • I just got them for party favors. But in the daisy shape. The duck is too baby shower. They are cute!

  • They're cute, but they're something I'd probably leave on the table when I left.
  • Very cute! I like it, and it's not the usual throw-away crap.

  • I'm kind of meh about it.  I don't hate it, but I also don't care to feed birds in my yard, so I'd probably leave it behind.
  • Thanks for the feedback, ladies. Appreciated.

  • Will there be chocolate or a cookie next to it that I can eat? Cause if so, this is fine, if not, I hate this.

    Really? Ugh.

Well, the menu for the event is like tea sandwiches and then little cakes and such. Does that make it better, since you'll be getting some sweets anyway?

I like the birdseed favors. If there's dessert at a party I think sweets for a favor is overkill.

  • I prefer edible favors, but these are cute.
