I walked past two black guys in hoodies today...

...and I managed not to fear for my life and shoot them.  Just thought you should know.

 

Some cold weather moved in overnight, so all the college kids are wearing hoodies today.  Seeing them, I just keep thinking of Trayvon and just get angry and sad.  Ugh.

    I walked around my hood with my hoodie up this weekend (it started raining). I'm thankful no one shot me. I live in a "stand your ground" state

A BLACK MALE who witnessed the confrontation said" the Hispanic male walked up to trayvonn and started talking to him and turned away to walk when TrayVonn attacked him and was on top of him when the hispanic male pulled the gun in self defense and shot. All you hoodie people weren't there and as usual Defend the criminal over the victim.

    I can't believe she'd go there. Even after reading the Hunger Games thread below, I'm shocked.

    Also, how is it usual that we'd defend the criminal over the victim? Please point to a time (other than any Trayvon Martin discussion) when you think this has happened.

    And you know more about what happened than we do despite the fact that you can't even spell his name right. 

    And Hispanics can be racist too, btw. They can also be white. But I wouldn't expect you to know something like that.

    Ok. Let's just accept for argument's sake that this is what happened. It still doesn't warrant Trayvon being shot and killed. Fist fights shouldn't escalate into murder. Also, the witness has no idea what Zimmerman might have said to Trayvon.
