  i havea few pair from cole haan with the nike sole that are dressy and casual all at once. i also have knee high boots from merrell that are super comfy and go great with tights and a skirt or wtih pants.

  zappos always has awesome reviews of shoes as far as comfort goes. have you looked on their site? and with free overnight shipping and returns it's easy to order a bunch, try them out and then return the ones you dont want.

  First of all, whatever you get do it immediately so you can break them in!!!

  I like Mephisto and merrell for comfort and they usually have some cute ones!! I hate the thought of ugly shoes so I'm always on the hunt for cute practical shoes!

  I've always worn Rocket Dogs on our trips to Europe.  The ones that I have are slip on so they're great for traveling, going through security, etc. and they are so comfortable.  We spend 6+ hours a day walking around when we go to Spain and Italy and I've never once had a blister or even any rubbing, etc.

  I have some Puma Zandy ballet flats that I bought for our trip and have been wearing.  They're a great fit on my feet

  I love Merrells in general.  I have a pair of sandals (the style is 'Lidia') that are decent looking - like leather thong sandals, as well as a pair of sneaker-type shoes for more active stuff.  I'm looking at their flats for our trip to Italy and Greece in May.

  I wear Alegria Palomas to work. They are a Mary Jane style. I have never had a day with sore feet since getting them. I have worn then walking everywhere in Chicago too and no sore feet. They come in all sorts of colors and prints too. $$ but worth it.
