Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

cleaning carpeted stairs
My big vacuum cleaner is too bulky to use on the stairs and I can't reach all of the stairs with the extension....any suggestions on a small vacuum cleaner I can use on the stairs?

I use something like this one:

It has a brush in there that picks up hair. I can plug it in at the top of the stairs and do the whole stairs without unplugging/replugging. It is also great for getting hair off things if you have a pet - like a couch, comforter, etc.... Make sure you get one with the brush in it...it picks up better on carpet.
