B & M Monday
- My stomach has been feeling really weird for the past month, so I have get an ultrasound done. Because if that, I have to be late to work on Friday, and I don't know how I'm going to make up the time because this week is more busy than normal.
- The doctor is having me tested to gallstones; why would a 23-year-old non-overweight person have gallstones?!
- I had blood taken after work today (to run tests to see why I'm feeling off) and now my left arm is a bit sore and I'm afraid to straighten it.
- DH keeps saying he's trying to lose weight, but then he keeps buying ice cream!

- Failed my 1 hr glucose..barely. The thought of having to take the 3 hr. now makes me want to cry.
- I seriously can't wait to get rid of this 8th grade. I can't deal with them anymore.

Gallbladder issues can strike anyone, regardless of age or weight...
- My child is the most stubborn baby I have ever encountered and it's not even born yet. I have to go back in 2 weeks for anatomy scan #3, because this baby would not move its arm, and then decided to roll onto its belly and the perinatlogist and the u/s tech could not get the shot of the heart they needed and it has to be cleared before 24 weeks. That will make ultrasound #6 in 12 weeks, and I still have at least one more to go in June thanks to my wayward placenta.
- Being Team Green is so hard! Going into the u/s today without T was so much harder to maintain my resolve. I had the tech write down the sex and seal it in an envelope in case I ever am dying to know that badly. I hid it in a drawer now, but I am hoping I stay strong and don't open it, at least not until baby is born and then I can see if they were right or not.
- I went to put on my jeans this morning and noticed that the back of the panel near the butt had tons of runs and small holes in it. I was so mad, especially considering they are like 3 weeks old and I have only worn them a handful of times. I called Old Navy and asked if they had any in stock in my size, had them set them aside for me, and was able to exchange the damaged ones for the new ones. Hopefully these don't do the same thing. I've heard that the ON Maternity quality stinks, but I thought it was just people being picky and snobby, but seriously, I thought they'd hold up longer than 3 weeks. I'm still not paying $70 for a pair of maternity jeans at Gap though, way too pricey for my blood. I need a 50% off or more sale before I buy some of the "better" quality Gap jeans.
Thanks for clarifying that and not making me feel like an obese elder lady.

I'm so sorry Krissy - you guys can't seem to catch a break.
Mackenzie has decided that she will not nap unless I nurse her to sleep. Any attempts at putting her in her crib result in immediate crying where she gets so worked up she is almost inconsolable.
B has to work late M thru W this week.
I am working on a sewing project and have had to use my seam ripper way too many times.

The reason I say that, is the doctor said he thought it wasn't gallstones because of my age and weight. So if he doesn't think that's what's wrong with me, why test me for it? And if it turns out it is gallstones, then I guess I'm "lucky"...
Regardless of your doctor's comment to you, considering how many of girls have/had gallbladder issues that question/wording was pretty rude. I will confirm again that gallbladder issue can strike anyone. In some cases, a gallbladder issue can be from genetics and completely out of one's control.
Exactly what I was going to say Cole. Also Lizard, your doctor obviously must think it could be it or he wouldn't be testing you for it. His comment is just stupid if that's what he believes, because he should know age and weight have nothing to do with it. We have had girls of all different sizes and ages on this board alone who have had issues with their gallbladders. And in my own family I have seen multiple people on both sides (non blood related), again of very different ages and sizes have gallbladder attacks. Pain doesn't discriminate based on someone's age or weight and your comment was rude.
