**PittPurple** re: your Oslo bucket list
Check out Norwegian (www.norwegian.com) for flights to Oslo. They fly from EDI to the main airport (Gardermoen - OSL) not the craptastic middle-of-nowhere airport like RyanAir does.
The flights can be really affordable and they are a great airline. I highly recommend.

Let me know when you come!
And if you're thinking of the fall, and have the inclination, I'm hoping to make a trip up to Troms? to try to see the Northern Lights...
Ooohhh.. DH would be all over that! What time of year is right for them?
And I'll definitely let you know! Basically, we're watching flights for Oslo and Copenhagen - whichever we don't go to will just be on the list for next year :-)

The peak activity is around the equinox. I was thinking October, but September would probably be dark enough too. It's not the warmest time to be in Norway! Haha!
