Shore excursion recommendations for Carnival Victory?

My SIL is going on her first cruise on a budget and would like suggestion for non-carnival shore excursions.

the zip line in st lucia is excellent.
for st thomas they can easily take the ferry to st john for the day (from red hook to cruz bay and back) and take a cab to a beach or shop in town or stay on st thomas.
in st kitts the van tours of the island are very good. there is a stand when you exit the ship are that will hook them up.
in barbados the boatyard is great for a day.
we are taking this cruise in May!
Happy to hear that the St Lucia zip line is good. We've been to StL before and decided to book this excursion.
We are also planning on doing the Boatyard in Barbados. We'll probably lounge at the Marriott in St Kitts as it's on a public beach. We haven't figured out St Maarten yet. This is a new stop for both of us.
