Any tips for nose pain (maybe TMI)...allergies?
Does anyone get hard nose crust when allergy season starts? Like hard boogers I'd say that are firmly attached to your nose and if you pull them off they bleed?
I get this every year, but right now I have it pretty bad and it hurts to even blow my nose. Is this a common problem and is there something I can do to make it go away quicker?
I don't know what to google for this.

Buy a saline nasal mist. It will help moisturize your nasal cavities.
yes this too. the saline will also help heal any wounds. or you can do your own saline solution (salt and warm water) and rise out your nose. i do this every once and a while to clear things up.
Actually for a nosebleed, you should put your head down and pinch the top.. not tilt it back. You could choke, or get blood into your lungs that could lead to an infection. But anywho.
I get the nose crusties all the time. Boy do they suck!! I use a bulb syringe and sterile saline, and flush out my sinuses. You could also try a neti pot. Just be sure to use either sterile saline, distilled bottled water, or boiled water and not tap! If that's too much effort, just try a saline nose spray. GL!
I would recommend the netti pot too. It's hard to get the hang of though, and you def. have to use distilled water. Hope it gets better!
eh I guess it just depends on who you talk to because there are credible sites for both, just coming from experience of being a trainer for a football team
But if you don't want to stand pinching your nose or using ice use a tampon...sounds gross but it works...we would get a kick out of the players having the strings hang out of their nose haha
I will try the saline stuff and see if that helps. I'm kind of scared to squirt it up my nose. Maybe I can squirt it on my finger and stick my finger up there. I'm such a wimp - my nose hurts, but not enough to squirt stuff up it!
Just do it. You will get used to it.
I assume you are taking an antihistimine and using a humidifer as well. Clearly, this is a spring allergy issue.
You assume wrong. I suck. I'm going to look into the humidifer this weekend though!
You need to take some zyrtec, allegra, or claritin too. They are all OTC.
