We're going to Miami in a few weeks for a work conference for DH. We'll be there Sat-Tue. With the exception of the airport, I haven't been there since I was a kid. I'm looking for recs for activities near the Sheraton 4 points, especially things I can do with the 3 yr old and 6 mo old while DH is in meetings. It looks like the children's museum and parrot jungle are close-ish, anyone been to them? I also would appreciate recs for restaurants in the area. Thanks!
Re: Miami beach with kids
We've never actually stayed in Miami with our kids, but we've had fun taking them to Monkey Jungle when we've passed through the area on the way to the Keys.

We go to Miami at least twice/year since my parents are semi-retired and live there part-time. However, I don't know where the Sheraton 4 points is???
The Aquarium in Key Biscayne is nice. It's a little pricey, but it's definitely a day-long activity. Besides that, we mostly hang out on the beach. On a rainy day, the Aventura mall (just to the north of Miami Beach) is a good option.
Most of the Cuban restaurants in Miami proper (not necessarily the beach) are very child-friendly. I especially recommend Versailles as the mirrors will keep the 3 y.o. entertained, plus the food is good.
