What are some healthy cereals?
It's the easiest thing for me to eat in the morning. I'm looking for tasty, low sugar, healthy ones that are good for me to eat while trying to lose my last 10 lbs.
Re: What are some healthy cereals?
My faves are the Kashi brands. Go Lean is my fave, but I also like most of the other flavors. I also eat just plain Cheerios and Multi Grain Cheerios and add fresh fruit to them.
Oatmeal is also a healthy quick breakfast. Use just plain oats and add fresh fruit, a little honey or a little peanut butter. Yummy!

My grocery store has brand called Mom's Best. It's super cheap and the toasted wheatfuls are lower in sugar than many cereals if you get the plain kind.
I also like Grainberry toasted oats or flakes, but they can be pricey.
Kashi isn't bad, either.
I like a lot of the ones already mentioned. Not sure if anyone said Grape Nuts. I love those things!
Also, I often make 'overnight oats' as an easy breakfast. Mix 1/2 cup rolled oats (not instant), with 1/2 cup each of milk (any type) and Greek yogurt. Add in a bit of sweetener (honey, maple syrup, etc.), and fruit. Stir it up and cover it with plastic wrap or a lid. In the morning, top it off with nuts if you like. It's pretty tasty and you can mess with the flavor combos pretty easily. Best of all, it's already in the bowl for you, so all you have to do is pull it from the fridge, eat, and rinse your bowl.
P.S. I usually let it sit on the counter for 15 minutes or so while I shower. I don't like it too cold. You can also microwave it for a few seconds instead.
