Any further reviews on BB creams?
I have a $2.00 off coupon for any Garnier product and it expires on Thursday. I was thinking of using it towards the BB cream since I there isn't really anything else by them that I want. Just curious if anyone else has any reviews.
Re: Any further reviews on BB creams?
It seems like people either love the Garnier or hate it. I got it because I wanted to try a cheaper BB before splurging on a better one. I really like it a lot. My skin is pretty clear to begin with, just a little splotchy here and there and one or two dark spots. It gave me a really smooth finish and I was surprised at how well the color matched my skin.
After putting it on, I just used a little concealer where I needed it and set it with pressed powder. I have combination skin and was afraid it would make me oily, but it seems like setting it with powder took care of that and it lasted all day. It also has a really strong smell, but I didn't find it gross or unpleasant, just a bit much. Overall, I think it's worth a shot, especially if you have a coupon since it's not a huge investment.
I don't know this kid or this monkey, but their side-eyes are strong.
I've been using it for about a week and I can honestly say that I like it more than the Smashbox BB cream. It looks like my skin, but better! It's a little shiny when I put it on, but a little Tarte powder on my cheeks and forehead and I'm shine free the rest of the day. I have acne scars and some melasma spots and it covers the majority of it. I just dab a little extra on those spots and I'm good.
The Garnier doesn't just sit on top of my skin like the Smashbox did. It seems to soak in a little more. I think it provides a more natural look.
I highly recommend it and will continue to buy and use it!
It does have a strong smell, but it goes away after a few minutes. I am very sensitive to smells and this does not bother me at all.
I have very acne prone, combination skin and I've really liked the Garnier product so far. It covers blemishes well. I don't mind the smell at all, and it does go away quickly.
It covers well and lasts a long time. I find it takes a lot more to remove it completely than my usual foundation.
Currently I'm also having electrolysis done on my face and so I was a hesitant to use something new but I haven't had any adverse reactions to it at all, even with the beating my skin is taking.
I like it for Saturday playtime at the park or running errands. When you want to have the look of no make up it's perfect. I agree with the smell, it's too much. I used a Garnier moisturizer and it had the same exact smell. Concealer and powder and you'll be fine! The Garnier Anti- dark circle eye roller is a great product you could try if you dont want to try the BB cream.
I'm working on a blog post right now about my full opinion and pictures so you can check that tomorrow if you want to see pictures
