I was so close to being rear-ended in traffic this morning. Screeching breaks, last minute swerve...and I saw the guy's coffee hit his windsheild. It would have really sucked for him, he was driving a G35.
MH came home last night really mad at his job. He swears he's really going to start looking for a new one this time. He goes through these phases and then calms down again, but I'm hoping this time he really does start looking. It's hard when your current job has so many good things about it...but I think the bad is really outweighing the good at this point.
I fired up our new pellet stove for the first time last night. It's been so warm this winter/spring that I haven't wanted a fire, but it got really chilly last night. It is so purrrrdy.

Darkling- I feel the same way, though at the moment I am all about trying new things because I am bored with Lemon Chicken, Turkey Stuffed peppers, a variation on pasta, and Garlic chicken. My husband keeps fighting me on trying new things. I think tomorrow on my ride home I am just going to pick something up and make it, and not tell him what it is.
My random--I am for more excited about the RoadID that came in the mail yesterday than I probably should be.
I am not very happy to hear this, even knowing the reputation of the Aggie masses. And people wonder why I give that town and it's people a hard time. I know they aren't ALL morons, but when the majority of them act that way then they kind of earn the rep. I'm sorry you are surrounded by a bunch of Aggies, so very sorry.
Almost getting in a wreck sucks! Something similar happened a couple of weeks ago, and I was shaking so bad I had to stop driving for a bit to calm down. I kind of hate driving anyway because of all the people on the road who have no idea what they're doing. Sorry about your near wreck experience.
My random: I just found out my brother (who is still going through a pretty nasty divorce) got engaged over the weekend to a woman he has been dating for less 6 months. They want to get married as soon as the divorce is finalized. I'm glad he's happy and all, but it just seems weird to me that he's moving so fast. He had only been out of the house for a week or so when they met and started dating. It just blows my mind that he can get over a marriage of almost 10 years that quickly.
GLW, that's a daily occurrence in my town..bunch of young, dumb drivers and old, cant-see-for-shiit drivers. Its nerve-wrecking and I feel for you.

panda-- I hate to hear about your brother getting a divorce. My brother was like that, but his marriage was like 4 months long and he got divorced while in Iraq.
