What (if anything) are you nervous about? Pretty much everything - giving up our currently awesome life, ruining my fabulous relationship with H, not having enough money, not having enough space, schooling, taking time off from work, what if I'm a terrible mother, am I really ready?...seriously, everything.
Who is more eager -- you or your DH? H, by roughly one billion.
Do you have close friends who are pregnant or have young children? H has a friend that had an oops 1 1/2 years ago, but we don't see them much. One of our couple friends just stopped preventing, so I'm sure they'll be up next. One of my BMs is going to start TTC in September.
In a perfect world, when would you like to conceive? June. I'll be done with my half marathon and we're (hopefully) taking a vacation in June. Most importantly, I'd be due late February/early March, so I'd stay home until May/June and H would be off June - August. We'd save a ton on childcare costs. However, this plan only works if H gets a teaching job...which is nearly impossible these days. If it's based solely on my schedule, September would have me due in late June/early July. I'm pretty busy at work through June, but I have down time July/August and part of September.
Are you currently doing anything to prevent pregnancy? If so, what? Half-assed charting!
What is your plan for TTC? We're probably starting in June, unless I chicken out. I'm also worried about TTC before we know if H has a teaching job - although I'm pretty sure we'd be ok financially with what we're making now. Ugh, I don't know!!
As for the actual TTC plan, we're going to have sex every other day for the enitre month. Sometimes I think H is more excited about the trying than the actual baby that may result!

What (if anything) are you nervous about? I'm not really nervous. More just looking forward to what's to come. I am nervous about what to do about work...with the awesome promotion I just received and our weird maternity leave policy I don't want them to demote me while I'm gone.
Who is more eager -- you or your DH? I would say DH. He wanted to have our first kid by the time he was 30 and he's getting pretty close, so he is anxious.
Do you have close friends who are pregnant or have young children? Everyone has kids or is pregnant! I swear it's in the water down here. 2 of my close friends had babies in the last month alone.
In a perfect world, when would you like to conceive? Last week lol. Seriously, we've been trying since we got married and nothing yet. I have Dr. appts coming up, so hopefully we can figure something out. Now that I'm departmental advisor/asst. dept. chair/professor, I don't get breaks off or anything so we don't have to plan around that anymore. I need to figure out more about my work's maternity leave policy so we can plan the best as possible.

What is your plan for TTC? We don't have a plan set in stone. We've been saving and looking for a house which are two important things. We've been plotting optimal times to have sex...and try to every other day since that's what was recommended to us.
