To those of you who knew about my trip to Colorado. I just wanted to list some of the highlights of my trip.
Wednesday: Our flight left at it the late afternoon. I will say this flying is defiantly not my preferred mode of transportation. We had turbulence the whole way to Denver it was awful. I drank so much on the flight, H had a white-knuckle grip in his tray almost the whole way. On the bright side of things we made it there in one piece. Denver air port is way too huge and we got lost trying to get out of the damn place.
So that evening we just kinda chilled out. had a few drinks then went to bed.
Thursday: we went to Breakfast at this awesome place called Pete?s diner it was the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. It was so nice out we went to go play 18 holes of disc golf. Then we drove out to Golden CO. we took the Coors brewery tour. It was fun and bonus points for 3 free beers at the end of the tour. We then went to Dave & Busters for dinner and games. H has never been and my BFF wanted to do something cool for him so that?s what we did.
Friday: was My BFF?s B-day, we went to the Stranahan?s whiskey distillery tour. (bff is big on whiskey) Best damn whiskey I have ever had and I don?t even like whiskey. After the tour we went back to her house and prepared for the party O.K. let me tell you about this party. We decided to have a bacon themed party. (this being spawned by my bff having to spend 8 days with the vegan people that came to visit her before we came out there) we had bacon every thing. bacon wrapped water chestnuts, stuffed mushroom, deep fried pickles, shrimp, and snickers bars. all of it was covered in bacon yum! we also had bacon cheese burger dip and bacon layered meatloaf. We had 2 bottles of bacon vodka so we had a bacon bloody Mary, a chocolate bacon?tini , bacon apple crisp and a swine flu shot. Needless to say with all the alcohol and grease a few people ended up getting sick, but we still had a fantastic time.
Saturday: We went to garden of the gods. It was this park in the mountains absolutely the most beautiful place I have ever seen in person. We probably sat on this rock for about an hour just taking in the view. We stopped in Manitou and walked around for a bit then we drove out to red rock walked around there for a bit then headed to Morrison. After Morrison hung out at her S.O.?s house he gave us some directions to the Breckenridge brewery and we went there. They had Stranahan-Breckenridge beer that was so tasty. They use the old used Stranahan whiskey barrels to make their beer in. At the end of the day on Saturday we were so tired. Just being outside all day and walking and climbing we all fell asleep around 10:00 p.m.
Sunday: we all got up dresses packed then caught the flight out. I still drank a lot on the plane but it was much much MUCH smoother home.
It was a great trip. I would do it all over again if I could. The mountains were awesome not like anything we have here at home. My bff & I were thinking about just taking turns every other year so next year it?s her turn to come see me. She handles the scary airplane stuff way better then me.

handsome boy modeling school was the best 60 dollars I ever spent. If it wasn't for handsome boy modeling scholl I would not be the modle I am today.
Re: My Co review:::LONG:::
Thanks for the recap, sounds like overall it was a great trip! Sorry to hear the flight there wasn't so good, at least there was alcohol available.
LOL @ the bacon overload b/c of vegan visitors, that's too funny. Chocolate bacon?tini sounds like something I need to at least try once!
Sometimes it's hard to have your best friends live so far away but nice to have someone to visit every now and then, especially if they live in a beautiful place like Colorado!
Sounds like a really great trip! I am sorry to hear that your first flight was rough, at least the second one was smoother!!
mmmhhmmm...bacon....mmm
