Abs still sore 4 days later = strain?
My trainer had me use the ab crunch machine on Saturday along with several new exercises. I was sore all over for a day or so, but now my stomach muscles are still sore only in my lower abdomen (I will NOT say "lower abs!). I'm wondering if I strained something.
Re: Abs still sore 4 days later = strain?
I will sometimes be sore for 3-4 days after doing something I'm not used to doing...
I wouldn't worry about it unless it persists for a few more days or gets worse.

I had a really low abdomen strain from my first week of crossfit. My instructor said to rest it completely for a week and they get back into it slowly. It's very common in women and especially common in those who had a csection. (I didn't though.)
It took a good week for it to feel better and not have intense pain when I tried to use it and probably a good two weeks for it to heal almost completely.
